MRP Run in combination with PP/DS MRP heuristic

Dear SAP Experts,

we have a daily MRP run. In addition, the MRP (MD01N) run can be started manually.

In addition, we have in PPDS a MRP heuristic to delete already scheduled orders and create new orders.

When someone starts MRP live (MD01N), the orders scheduled in PPDS will be over-scheduled.

I would like to avoid that.

Is it possible to restrict the product from getting re-planned by MRP LIVE (MD01N)?

Or is it possible to start automatically the MRP heuristic after MD01N?

Perhaps there is a solution that the orders scheduled in PPDS will be not over-scheduled without fixing plan orders in PPDS.

Hello Anne

To avoid the rescheduling process from MRP live, you can use the fixing options to fix orders and operations.

This way the heuristic and MRP will not be able to reschedule them.
