Hey community,
I do have an issue with the following process:
- 311 posting EWM sloc > IM sloc created in ECC via MB1B
- delivery created and send to EWM
- item picked, packed and posted GI
- upon GI posting, packaging material of the HUs is added to the delivery in EWM (based on standard customizing)
- GI posting + the new pack item is sent to ECC
- item category for the pack item is determined based on customizing for direct ODOs
Now the problem appears -
the newly created item does not have a movement type in ECC. Thus, no material document is created.
Does anybody have an idea how to make ECC set the movement type in the pack item?
It is pure standard so feel free to take the challenge and try the same in your system 😉
Thanks in advance for any input!
Hendrik

Update:
Based on feedback from SAP this process is not foreseen. So a 311 movement triggered from ECC will indeed have the packaging items in the ECC delivery upon GI posting but those items will not automatically have the same destination storage location as the other items of the delivery. The suggestion is to use STO which is working fine in my system. Still from my perspective the behaviour is not consistent as in the STO process SAP is also just adding the items to the STO PO while taking the source and destination sloc from the other PO items. So not very satisfying results here....
