Movement type in ERP for component receipt in EWM reverse kitting

Hello,

Where can we assign movement type for the components inbound delivery that are received after posting reverse kitting in the EWM.

I am able to assign movement type for outbound delivery for header consumption at location,

Logistics Execution-->Extended Warehouse Management Integration-->Outbound Process-->Kit to Order-->Set Goods Receipt Movement Type for Kit Headers

Here I assigned say 502 for DOGN item category. Now I am looking where I can assign mvmt 501 for DIGN item cat. In the above node DIGN does not appears as it is meant for outbound only.

The IBD that get generated in ERP has no movement type connected with it as this moment so no material document getting posted for GR.

Hello

Normally for your process you need to create a separate item category copying DIGN and assign MVT type you need to have for correct posting. You can assign 501 if you follow SAP standard.

Standard DIGN is not assigned to any MVT type, because SAP uses this in many processes 🙂

You can assign MVT type to inbound item category following below node. Once you have assigned 501 to DIGN for your test purpose, you can post GR.
