Missing authorization to run Demand-driven Replenishment in Planning Area

Hello experts,

I am trying to run Demand-driven Replenishment operators via IBP Excel Addin.

Operators:

• Calculate DDMRP buffer levels or
• Recommend Decoupling Points(Solve)

Then I am getting the following error message.

The Business Roles, which my IBP User has been assigned to it, have no restrictions for Write and Read Access.

I assume, that all planning operators can be executed by me.

Can you please advise me, how can i get the missing authorization to run DDMRP Replenishment operators?

Is it something about DDMRP License, which i need to purchase?

Hello,

after reviewing the our trace logs, the cause of the failure of the operator was, we had data in the DDADJUSTEDADU and DDTOTALADU key figures, and we had records in Demand Stream master data, however, the Customer Group values in the Demand Stream master data do not exist in the Customer master data. Because the Customer Group records don't exist in the Customer master data, an internal join during the running of the operator doesn't return any records and the operator fails.

We added the Customer Group values for the product/locations in the 01 planning unit to the Customer master data and rerun the DDR operators.

The error message "Missing authorization" was misleading and it will be corrected for 1911.

Thanks in advance for your response.

The one and only Business Catalog ID, I could find for DDMRP is SAP_IBP_BC_INV_DDMRP_PC, which is already assigned to the my business roles.

As you can see below, the Business ID (SAP_IBC_BC_INV_DDMRP_PC) was written incorrectly in help.sap.com. I sent a feedback to correct it.

In Addition to this, I will raise an incident to SAP Product Support for investigation.

Hi Levent,

DDMRP is a new functionality on IBP so I am not familiar with this error message, especially if you have a completely unrestricted business role. If you have not find the root cause yet, I would recommend raising an incident to SAP Product Support for deeper investigation.

Have you checked if there aren't any Business Catalogs that are missing on this BR_SUPPLY_PLANNER_IBP related do DDMRP? That would explain the issue even already having Unrestricted access to the Business catalogs that are already part of the business role.
