Minimum Order quantity in SAP IBP

HI All,

Please guide is in setting the minimum order quantity in IBP. My requirement is i need not send the planned orders to plant if the quantity is less than the minimum qty. Once the planned order reached the minimum order qty then the Planned order should e triggered to plant by the S&OP Operator.

Let me also know the possible ways to do this .

Hi Subbu,

With the Key Figure MINPRODUCTION you could define the minimum production quantity. The Optimizer may not be able to find a feasible solution and so the actual production receipts may be lower than the specified minimum.

Like Ankur said, I don't think there's a standard way to achieve this behavior.

Hi Subbu,

I don't think there is a standard way to achieve your requirement. What you can do is run SOP Operator and get the proposed Production Receipts and use it as an input to Custom KF where you can define calculation if Production Receipts is below Min Qty, make it 0 or keep it same. Then use this custom KF to be copied in Adjusted Production receipts and run SOP operator again.

This is nothing but kind of load builder functionality you are looking for.
