Hi SAP experts,
Our business requirement is to have a field to maintain per warehouse for each material. This will act as a minimum stock level. The objective is to use this as reference when moving stock between different warehouse to ensure it will never fall below this minimum quantity.
We were able to find under material master - WM2 tab the field "minimum stock". However, this is maintained individually for each storage type. It is too tedious to maintain these many fields.
Is there a more suitable approach so we can maintain the quantity for the whole warehouse given a particular material?

Hi Noel,
if the company wants to keep a minimum level of stock in warehouse, you can fill the field in just one of the storage types. For example, if you have a warehouse splitted in "goods receipt area", "main deposit" and "goods issue area" you probably will want to keep a minimum level of stock just in the main area, so the "minimum stock" field wouldn't have to be filled for the other storage types.

Bira
