Migration of Routes and Routes Scheduling in Public Cloud

Hello SAP community,

I am in charge of data migration for a client moving to public cloud. This client currently uses Routes, Route Determination Settings and Route Schedules. However, I run into the issue of not being able to use tools usually at my disposal, namely custom migration objects in SAP S/4HANA migration cockpit or LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench).

These objects have a volume that makes it unimaginable to replicate the data by hand in the new system.

What method would you recommend for migrating those objects, considering this situation?

Thanks,

Samuel

Thank you for your question, @SamuelArseneault.

as far as I can tell there are two ways to migrate data to S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition:

  • Data Migration using staging tables, or
  • Data Migration directly from SAP system.

Please check out this SAP Help page for details.

if this helped, please mark the response accordingly. Thank you.

Thank you for your answer,

The first method is not possible for those objects, as there is no standard migration object for routes, route determination or route scheduling. Also, since this is a public cloud project, it is not possible to create custom migration objects.

The second method is not accessible, as the client's current system is a private cloud system, and the "Migrate data directly from a SAP system" method is only available from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA. Also, there is no standard direct transfer object for routes, route determination or route scheduling, so even if the method was possible, it still would not be possible to migrate those specific objects.

I am sorry, but your answer does not solve my problem. Please do not hesitate mention alternative ways that these object can be created in the system in bulk, or anything of the sort.
