Migration form embedded EWM to Decentralized in 1909

Hello All,

Need your guidance for a crucial design plan.

Currently our client is having embedded EWM, S4 1909 with advance licence. Our US and Canada biz unit is already live in Embedded version in separate box. Now we have started sprinting (following Agile Dev-ops) for Europe and Africa in separate box.

Now for EU and Africa we have some special advance scenarios for Planned cross doc (specially TCD - including route mapping etc), for which it has been recommended to move for Decentralized version. Also as our WH's are 24*7 operating in EU, hence running EWM in separate box will be beneficiary.

But the main catch is:

Server box for Decentralize model is not available (licencing and other procurement approvals..), hence client asked to do the build currently in Embedded version. Then in future during end of 2nd sprint (3 month sprinting rule), decentralized ewm will be available.

My question is:

1. what will be best practice to migrate from Embedded to Decentralized version?

2. is there any standard SAP tool available for migration?

...I think that you have to transport your coding & customizing via standard transport management and stock, product & bin master can be done via migration cockpit (it is designed to migrate from business suite to S/4 based system but I assume that it will also work for your scenario (embedded in S/4 to decentral)).

Never tried that though...
