All,
I have a question with MFS in EWM 9.5. We currently have 2 channels (A & B) and have Life telegrams setup on channel A to be sent every 30 seconds. In our production environment it functions properly and sends the life telegrams. Our QA and Sandbox environments do not send the life telegrams. We do bi-monthly refreshes. The MFS channels do function and send telegrams however no life telegrams are sent during quiet times on the channels. Also, there are times I need to stop and start the channel to have MFS send the pending telegrams. I checked the channel A outgoing buffer and it's clear.
Curious if anyone has any thoughts on this? I was thinking there could be a batch job that's not running due to it being a QA/Sandbox environment?
Thanks,
Rob

This blog is what I needed! Appears the /SCWM/MFS_PERIODCHK batch job is not running in the background for our test environments. Thanks for this Tobias!

My understanding is MFS directly calls function module to send or receive Telegrams.
kindly reply, if you found the root cause for your issue. Ideally once we have completed our testing, we need to stop the channel?.
