Message selection locked by user in transaction /sapapo/sdp94 - in SCM APO DP

When users run transaction /sapapo/sdp94 they receive message "selection locked by user XXXXXXX". This situation does not enable them to work in change mode they need to do their job,

I have verified the selection profiles in transaction /sapapo/mc77 for all users, and found they are different, i.e., the selection profiles have different Customers, different Distribution Channel, etc. They only share same Groupng Characteristc.

I also compared many selection profiles in transaction /sapapo/sdp94 by displaying characteristic APO Product, and found many skus (APO Product) are shared with both selection profiles when loaded them in transaction /sapapo/sdp94.

So far I kindly appreciate if you help me to understand why two or more users are locked by another user when running transaction /sapapo/sdp94, even when the locked users have different selection profiles

Hello,

Locking error is raised because data view contains the key figure that has already been locked.

Livecache lock entries can be seen with report /SAPAPO/TS_LC_DISPLAY_LOCKS

You can get list these liveCache lock entries with inofrmation of planning area, characteristic values and keyfigure details.

Hi R Brahmankar thanks for your input.

I found the selection profiles of many users reporting the error message do not overlap in any of their characteristics, but they have many products once they load their selection profile in SDP94, regardless this caracteristic (product) is not part of the selection profile.

Since I understand the report must be executed during the time the lock is happening to check the locked objetcs.I found the selection profiles (please tell me if I am wrong), as soon as any user report me he/she is locked by another user, I will run the report.

I am have reviewed selection profiles with the resulta mentioned in my post. Now with the result of the report

/SAPAPO/TS_LC_DISPLAY_LOCKS mentiones by R Brahmankar I hopefully will try to get more info that I hope lead me to the reason of locked users.

I would suggest reviewing selection profiles and user assignment once again, it might some of the attributes are sharing information to different selection profiles with users.
