Hi Gurus,
Greetings.
I am using Monthly lot size planning (MB) and have a problem. My understanding is MRP never let the available stock go negative on a given day or MRP issues an exception message if the nearby receipt element should be adjusted because of rescheduling horizon. In my case, rescheduling horizon is 100 days at plant level and no MRP group.
It did issue an exception message for the immediate stock out but for one down the time axis, its not planning and to make it worse, MRP is not even asking to move forward my procurement proposal. the monthly lot size is set with scheduling parameter, period start date is delivery date.
Please help me to understand the below scenarios,
Settings:
Lot size : MB - Monthly lot size with Period start date = Delivery date
Procurement type - F
Planned Delivery time - 62 days
Minimum lot size : 100,000
Rounding value : 1000
Rescheduling horizon : 100 days at plant level with tolerance 2 days and no MRP group
Case 1) system issues MRP exception for 02/01/2023 to move forward to 01/25/2023 which is good

Case 2)
Here in the below screenshot, material goes stock out on 03/27/2023 and the next receipt element is on 04/03/2023. My expectation with the made settings ideally the PR on 02/01/2023 should be increased to cover the stock out on 03/27/2023 or bare minimum should be an exception message for the PR on 04/03/2023 to move ahead.
what i am missing here? In the first screenshot, MRP exception is fine but not in the second one. I am strongly convinced I am missing a setting. Please correct if my understanding is not correct.

Thank you
Aravind
