Hi All,
I'm stuck in a bind regarding material master updates in EWM based on a specific alternative unit of measure. I have written a script using the LSM Workbench to update data regarding cartonization (i.e. L W H V etc.). This is to be updated on the individual case line - i.e. for the k01 variant in our sap network. The problem is I can not seem to specify the case variant line in the work bench, as it is part of CIF. For context we've removed CIF from ERP -> EWM of these fields, so I can not use MM17 to do the updates in ERP.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this? One idea is to update every line, but this is sloppy.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Waleed,
Which system you are using EWM on business suite. then you need a custom program to update the information to ECC @ periodic intervals..through CIF...if you feel manual method is robust and time consuming which most of the clients not interested. but we need proper monitoring of queues also required.. otherwise it will give erraneous situations and need to more time to fix the master data errors..

Hi Waleed,
As per my understanding, you need a custom program/ enhancement in product master -> Which will run in EWM and update in ECC using queue RFC concept since you already mentioned the limitations "no manual single entry or mass".
Kind Regards,
Ajit
