Material Master - Mass changes in S/4 Hana Cloud

Dear all,

My company plans on installing Master Data Governance next year. However, by the time we get the hand on the module, we'll have to deal with mass changes (no creation, only modification) in Material Master for all type of data in the opened views.

As such, do you know if S/4 Hana gives us such possiblity (native options) ? Correct me if I'm wrong about the existing options :

- MM17 still exists in S/4 Hana but requires that that all data for the materials and organizational levels you select should be the same

- Does LTMC gives you the possiblity to do mass changes on all type of data ?

If you have any other recommendation, I'll be more than happy to read it.

If you are planning for Master Data Governance (MDG) with S/4 HANA then you can consider Master Data Consolidation (MDC) tool as well.

MDC will provide you flexibility for Mass Creation & Change both with governance & will help in defining governance for both (Central Governance & MDC).

Yes, you can use MM17 in S/4 HANA, what do you mean by Data should be same?

You can also use LTMC but it requires more work where you need to create Projects and then subproject etc. LTMC have more options 🙂
