Material does not exist for SAP, eventhough it exists (SMQ2 Inbound Delivery EWM)

Hi there,

I got a problem. I have created a material in MM01 and also in /SCWM/MAT1 as a stock product. If I want to transfer my inbound delivery to EWM, the inbound delivery remains stuck in SMQ2. The following error message appears: "Error in mapping: Material XYZ does not exist (SR053)". Although the material is created in all views and storage locations (MM01), it cannot be found. What could be the problem?

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi,

Could you check business system and logical system in table /SAPAPO/MATMAP?

Best Regards.

Hey no worries. Yes the tabs have been assigned. Furthermore, as I said before. I copied the same material and did not change a thing...only the material number changed of course and it worked. How can that be?

Unfortunately Business Group is the same for every product. It doesn't matter if it works or not

-->how to update BSG in MM02?

Well I have lots of materials I can make an Inbound delivery for and send it to EWM without having these troubles. So if I change the PVDCLNT100 to something else it won't work. It is just this particular material that doesnt work. I copied this material and gave it another number (created a new material), then I did the same procedure and this time it worked.

Problem still is: I need this specific material number that doesn't work

Business System Group might be the issue.

Please check Business System Group of 2 products which are working (*New) and not working in Tcode /SAPAPO/MAT1.

If you found different, then change using Tcode BDLS if Decental OR Again cif OR Change some thing.. in MM02 to update Business System Group if you use Central EWM.

Hi Dennis,

I think Ajjit has pointed it correct, In the screenshot for stock type determination I see the incorrect system, it should be the backend ECC system. But it's the same EWM system, you have maintained.

Can you please check it again?

Sushanta

Hi Dennis Keidat,

I guess error comes from Storage location/ stock type interface mapping in EWM.Could you please check ERP-EWM settings?

Tcode SPRO->SCM Extended Warehouse Management->Extended Warehouse Management->Interfaces->ERP Integration->Goods Movements-> Map Storage Locations from ERP System to EWM

Kind Regards,

Ajit
