Master data change in Active version to reflect in simulation version

Hi All,

I have done some changes in location + product - like GR time and period factor in Active Version and I want this change to be adopted by planning in Simulation version. How it is possible ?

Will I need to do the "copy planning version" again or the simulation version will reference this change automatically ?

I want to run capacity leveling in simulation version (with new changed data in loc+prod)

Hi Prabhat,

in case you make version independent field changes that are not included in the table /SAPAPO/MATLSIM, then the planning process will refer them from the product master.

If the fields are existing in /SAPAPO/MATLSIM , you either need to edit the product master on the relevant planning version in /SAPAPO/MAT1 or you must run indeed another version copy.

Just check product master in /SAPAPO/MAT1 for your simulation vserion, if valued are updated then it should be Ok.

If not then you need a version copy for master data and transaction data if needed.
