Hi, I'm having an issue with this setting whilst processing and inbound delivery in EWM. I have copied the standard Availability groups and stock types and have searched through this forum for the answer, but to no avail.
If I maintain the availability group 002 (Goods Fully available) in this mapping, then my EWM delivery is blocked with an error regarding stock stype F1 when distributed from S4H. When I then change the availability group to 001 (Goods in Putaway) and refresh the EWM delivery, it unlocks and I can continue to process it (Unload, GR etc.) however, when I then try to crate the warehouse task, I then get an error regarding stock type F2 and I have to change the availability back to 002, so that I can create and confirm the task.
I have obviously missed something somewhere as this isn't right, but I cannot work out what it is 😞 Some help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
ok, so it seems you work with one storage location only, not the ROD/AFS scenario. No problem. But then this: "My end placement storage types are all set with the availability group 002" does not make any sense, respectively you do not need it. You also should not need a second availability group at all.
"When the inbound is distributed from S4H to EWM it is ok as long as the availability group within the "Map Storage Locations from ERP system to EWM = 001"....
If set to 002, the EWM delivery has a blocked status as the ERP stock determination for my Plant/Sloc and stock type F1 cannot be determined."
This looks as if the stock type in the inbound delivery is set by something else then the delivery.
When you open the details of the item, there is a field "In" (Indicator) next to the "Stock Type". What does this field show?

Hi Juergen
As suggested, I deleted availability group 001, stock type F1, removed the availability group from the storage types and mapped availability group 002 from ERP to EWM. I then created a new PO/Inbound and tried to process through the putaway in EWM.
I was forced to recreate availability group 001 and stock type F1 (used in the background by EWM) but once done, I was able to fully process 'end to end' without amending the availability group in the mapping of Plant/Storage location to EWM.
In a nutshell then, I think the root cause of my problem was maintaining the availability group with the storage types, so a big thank you for you help and guidance.
FYI the "In" field next to the stock type Ind within the inbound is now showing "P" (Value Proposed Externally; Changeable Manually or by System)
Cheers

Thanks Juergen for the quick response.
I will remove the availability groups from the storage types as you suggest and also delete one of the availability groups and associated stock type settings.
The stock type indicator field is populated with "C" (Value determined by system)
Cheers

Hi, thanks for replying.
Yes this is still an issue as I am having to amend the availability group within the "mapping table for ERP system to EWM" multiple times when processing an Inbound delivery.
I have copied the standard EWM availability groups for putaway (001 - Goods in Putaway and 002 - Goods Completely Available) into my warehouse configuration

...... along with the standard Stock types (F1 = 001 and F2 = 002).

My end placement storage types are all set with the availability group 002 whereas all others are blank.
When the inbound is distributed from S4H to EWM it is ok as long as the availability group within the "Map Storage Locations from ERP system to EWM = 001".

If set to 002, the EWM delivery has a blocked status as the ERP stock determination for my Plant/Sloc and stock type F1 cannot be determined.

If I change the setting to 001 an refresh the inbound in EWM, it unblocks and I can proceed with the unloading and GR. When I come to create the Whs Task, I get a similar ERP stock determination error for my Plant/Sloc and stock type F2.

Again, if I change the availability group in the Sloc from ERP to EWM availability group to 002, I can then create and confirm the putaway Whs Task.
Hope this makes sense and someone can help
Cheers

Hi,
if this is still an issue, I guess you have to give a little bit more information about your settings in EWM and in ERP. If it is solved, you could write what the issue was and close the question.
