Manually creation of warehouse task for process type Y371

Hi

In the standard scenario in EWM after packing in /SCWM/PACK a warehouse task is created transfer de HU from storage type Y831 to storage type Y920.

It´s possible to change the automatic creation for a manually creation in this scenario?

Hi Luiz,

I am not sure which "standard process" you are referring to (a Y-storage type does not look like what SAP usually delivers as reference).

Nevertheless, I assume you are looking at the event "Close HU" after packing in /SCWM/PACK which triggers a transfer from the packing station to the staging area using POSC (process-oriented storage control).

Therefore, if you do not want want to use that trigger, simply change your POSC settings accordingly.

Thank you for your response, you are correct.

The situation is at event "Close HU" after packing. In my scenario I need to indicate manually the position in the staging area and not use the standar position GI-ZONE used in the warehouse process type Y371 (Staging: HU Movement).

Hi Luiz,

you could still have POSC create the warehouse task automatically and enter the destination bin upon confirmation. That, of course, only works if whoever executes the task knows where to put the HU in the staging area. Alternatively, you could have a look at "rule-based" determination, but I do not know out of my head if that is applicable here.
