Making field mandatory in EWM

Hello,

I want to make a field in Inbound Delivery Mandatory, that field is currently optional.

Please let me know how to change optional field to Mandatory in EWM 1809.

Define Incompleteness Profiles

Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define the incompleteness profiles for the document types and item types in delivery processing.

Each incompleteness profile is assigned to a system profile for field control. The incompleteness profile defines the settings for the incompleteness check in the corresponding system profile. If you want to extend or restrict the system settings for the incompleteness check for a business process, you can define a new incompleteness profile for a system profile here.

Standard settings

SAP has defined system profiles for field control for the standard processes in delivery processing. You cannot change them. If you do not define an incompleteness profile for a document type or item type, the settings from the system profile of the corresponding document/item category are used automatically.

Activities

• You can create additional incompleteness profiles for each system profile. Define the following properties:

• The business action during which the incompleteness check will be performed

• The field for the incompleteness check

• The class that can check the incompleteness of the field (optional)

• Assign the new incompleteness profile to all relevant document types and item types in delivery processing.

You can define the document and item types for inbound and outbound deliveries either manually or with the aid of a wizard.

If you wish to use a wizard, choose the following IMG activities:

• Define Document Types for Inbound Delivery Process Using Wizard

• Define Item Types for Inbound Delivery Process Using Wizard

• Define Document Types for Outbound Delivery Process Using Wizard

• Define Item Types for Outbound Delivery Process Using Wizard
