Maintenance Plans and Notification Cycles

Is it possible to have a maintenance plan release notifications annually, but skip one year on a specified time period? Ie. if its a 3-year cycle, release notifications on year 1, year 2, and then skip every third year, then release notifications again on year 4, year 5, and skip year 6?
