machine alarms in PdMS / PAI

Hi,

I have read the documentation about Machine Alarms. I understand steps 1-3, but was is meant with step 4: "Create configuration file for the equipment, that have configured required to setup a specific connector instance." Where do I have to create this config file? What should be included?

I am trying to send Machine Alerts to PAI and cannot figure out how.
