M7175 - Maintain serial numbers for total quantity

Hi. I have a situation that I'm struggling to resolve and am hoping someone can help.

An IBD was created in S4/H and distributed to EWM with no issues. The WT's were confirmed but the return message had an error and was stuck in SMQ2 unfortunately though, someone has deleted the message. There is now a discrepancy in stock between S4/H and EWM and when txn /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK is called and processed, error message M7175 - Maintain serial numbers for total quantity is given.

How do we rectify this problem?

Unfortunately this isn't the solution I require as in my scenario, the S4/H IBD has not been updated with the GR from EWM and the SMQ2 message has been deleted.
