Hi Expert EWM,
II search an experience on LOSC customizing table.
I have defined all combinaisons in this table for a replenishment with several source & destination storage type with several intermediate bins.
The table is very difficult to maintain with more & more lines.
Have you a solution to reduce this table?

Hi Daniil,
I'm agree, it's really more easy to maintain standard table instead development.
I've already test your proposition to use generic storage type but it's OK if you have a building A to a building B.
If you have also a building C to replenish building B, that is not performed.
For my point of view, may be, the solution would be to use a storage type group instead of storage type.
What do you think about this?

Hi Daniil,
For sure, it's lean when you have some storage type defined but if you have 10 buildings with 6 storage types, & movement in & out in each of them quickly your table has 200 or 300 records.
It's not very confortable to maintain.
We have think about a development but I thought that somebody had found a standard solution.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,
From my point of view it is better to maintain this table. Developments are usually harder to support.
To reduce amount of records you can use generic records, with empty source / destination. e.g. everything what goes in the BuildingA should have Buffer bin ParkingA. I have 500+ records for one warehouse now, and it is not finally customized yet, additionally we have customer table for some special processes, for which in standard table not enough controls :)It is like this for complicated warehouses. It is hard to imagine as well some kind development which would handle most cases.
Sometimes when you need something like Dummy buffer bin for every normal bin, development could help.

Daniil
