Location Not Found. Product not Found error

Hi Experts,

I am trying to set up a new F&R system on SCM 7.0.

After creating new Site and Article, transfer is happening successfully via FRE01. Entries can be seen in /FRE/BIF_MATLOCN

It goes into error when posting via /FRE/BIF.
The message in SLG1 is "Product XXX not found. Location NNN not found"
Why does it try to search for Location/Product when I am doing FRE01 for the first time

Below are the steps taken

-> Create Single Article with RP type 11
-> List the article to Store (Assortment)
-> List article to DC
-> Source of Supply is 3

What am I missing? Config has been one as per the standard Config.

Hi,

In addition to above, it seems in /FRE/BIF, there is some validation for Buffer.
During this validation it finds nothing in FM /FRE/BIF_PRODUCT_MULTI_READ internal table gt_buffer_by_matnr, and then fails.
Is there any buffer related setting in SPRO, that needs to be changed?

Hi,

The issue got resolved.

The "Assignment of Logical System to Business System Group" was not maintained correctly. Hence the error message was coming.

There should be two logical systems, one for F&R system, another for ERP system. And they should be assigned to a business Group.
