Local renaming of an IBP attribute within a MS Excel planning view

Dear community,

is it possible to overwrite the standard naming of an IBP attribute within an MS Excel planning view?
I tried to apply the renaming in an active IBP Excel planning view via Options > Member Names > Attributes but the selection box below attributes does not show any members at all. So I am wondering if it's possible to apply local names for attributes at all, e.g. instead of Product --> Material no.?

Example:

best regards, Peter

P.S. It works perfectly fine for attribute values and key figures. But actually there seems to be no option for attributes as a such.

Hi @peter_casper ,

Doesn't seem to be possible directly in Excel, neither using Member Names or IBPFormattingSheet. It allows for name change only on specific attributes values / specific KF, as you already mentioned.

The only option is via PA Config  - this will not deactivate the PA.

Hi @Andrei_Lupu,

I was just curious because of the availability of this particular "attribute option". But as you said, it seems to be a placebo option w/o any functionality.
Kind of strange. Anyhow, thanks for your reply.

Hi Peter, I don't see the "Attributes" option (running 2502 add-in) in the Members Names dropdown. Is it possible that a custom attribute / custom description is named "Attributes" in your PA ?

That's strange. Actually there is also no attribute w/ the name "Attributes" set up. I do get this option in standard S&OP planning areas but as well in DP ones. My add-in is also running on version 2502.02.
