Hello Experts,

We have a requirement to perform testing for different test user ids created. Planning Book has created with 2 table. Have to perform testing intially for table 1 keyfigures. From Table1 keyfigures..the values will be displayed automatically in table for certain keyfigures.

we are facing an issue, not able to go for change mode and then input the values for the selection in the table 1, where as for second table its able to input the values.

For example if i have 6 characteristics CH1, CH2 , CH3, CH4, CH5 and CH6.

I created selections with different characteristics separately. I loaded the selection and tried to go different drill down with other charactorstics and pressed change icon. In table 1 not able to input the values even when i go for change mode as well.

Requested security team to check the authorizations assigned and any parameters missed out. Even security team confirmed all roles and parameters assigned perfect. There is no issue from security side.

My Question is how can i able to edit the particular selection loaded in table 1. Have to perform this kind of testing for different test user ids as well.

One imp thing is i checked with my own user id who have full authorizations and tried to edit the same selection, found the issue with not able to edit the selection.

If anyone face this kind of issue in your expieriance, pls reply me if anything we forgot to check either functional apo side or secutiry end.

Regards,

SV

Hi, it does not look like authorization issue, instead it looks like a planning book design issue. You can go to /sapapo/sdp8b, input planning book and data view, make sure you active "data view" radio button, and press change button. Then in the next screen, you mark the row you want to edit, right click your mouse on it, then select "selected rows" -> "input/output" and then save.
If you have no macro that controlls the input/output property, the row should be editable.

Hi

If I understood, you also faced the issue when you are using your user id which is having full access?

If yes then would kind request you to please check the macros of these 2 different data views. Is it possible for you to share why was the need to create 2 data view which could also help to get the answer for your query.

In case you don´t have authorization, you can try to go in change more and then open new window and click su53. This information you can send to authorization or post here to tell you if it has authorization issue.

Thanks
