Load plan - how to setup RCCF for SAP TM Optimizer

Hi community,

one of the prerequisites to process the Load plan in the Transportation Cockpit is to setup a "Remote Control and Communication Framework" to the optimizer server.

I believe that it is missing in my SAP-TM system and therefore I am getting a RCCF error when running the Load Planning.

Could someone please indicate how to configure it?

Hi, in the note mentioned it says: environment:

• SAP Transportation Management 9.1
• SAP Transportation Management 9.2
• SAP Transportation Management 9.3
• SAP Transportation Management 9.4

so this is e.g. not a note for a s4 hana stacked (embedded) TM...right?

Hi Alex,

You can contact your Basis person and ask him to activate below Load Plan TM Optimizer Engines in transaction RCC_CUST.

VSO - Load Space Optimization and TVSO - Load Optimization

Hope you already have Load plan settings active in your Planning profile.

Hi Karthik, thanks for the answer. I agree that in a production environment, a Basis consultant would be in charge to activate the Optimizer engines. However in my case I am using a trial appliance hosted in Amazon AWS. Unfortunately I got to know that the Optimizer server is not available in the trial appliance and a license is required in this case.
