Livecache requirements

Hello,

Are there any restriction about install Livecache server and SCM on the same server?

The OS is windows.

Hello,

Please review the information & referenced notes at SAP notes:

2076541 - liveCache for SCM 7.00 and SCM 7.01: Supported Operating Systems and Hardware Platforms

2076542 - liveCache for SCM 7.02 and later: Supported Operating Systems and Hardware Platforms

Also It’s recommended to run the sizing & check that you have enough the OS resources <memory, CPU, …>

to run the SCM application server, the SCM DB & the liveCache on the same server.

Hi Ruben,

There are no such restrictions for installation Livecache and SCM on the same server.

Based on transaction load you may design your architecture for SCM Landscape.
