Limitation in SAP RFID Handling unit number series Length

We have integration between a third party RFID solution with SAP. The challenge is with the Handling unit number series length:

• The Third Party RFID solution supports 28 character length
• SAP HU number series is restricted to a maximum of character length.

This limitation is causing integration issues. we need feasible solution or workaround where the HU numbers from the third-party RFID can be aligned with SAP. Request your urgent guidance as this is very critical for our go live.

You may make use of user exit or create a custom number range for accepting the number range from RFID system.
