Hello,
I have a problem in SAP EWM when we mass activate PI documents from the monitor.
We have several PI documents all with different number of st. bins.
The Pi documents are created ahed of time and we activate them on the day of the inventory count.
When we activate the PI documents, warehouse orders are created.
Our target is when activating the PI documents, to have one WO per PI document.
How can I achieve this? I have tried playing with Limits and Filter for WO but without luck.
Any advice will be taken in consideration with gratitude.
Kind regards, Sorin
Request clarification before answering.
"In that case, if you have 2 PI documents with 10 st. bins each, it will create one WO for both PI."
What I see in the screenshot is that one WO always has 5 items.
So the filter works - but I see that is actually not the filter you want.
You wrote "Our target is when activating the PI documents, to have one WO per PI document."
So the max / min number of items is not the correct limit.
So the question is if one of the available fields in the "Field to Limit Warehouse Order Size" is one you can use?
Maybe document id works?
Otherwise the F1 help to this field describes which BAdI can be used to define your own filter field.

Hi,
did you select the correct limit value type (Physical Inventory)?
That only leave the max / min number of items (and the open limit size parameter) open.

All the above is no official SAP statement.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!
