Dear all
In our company we first reschedule manually production orders to available slots for end product A001 (see attached example). When this is done the situation 'Original outcome after manual rescheduling' could be applicable. Required labor hours to produce the end product A001, and required labor hours to produce subassembly B001 are calculated by the SAP system.
However, we would like to use an algorithm in PP/DS to perform an optimization and to level out the labor hours (to accomplish a more balanced labor plan). The result would be for example the situation depicted under 'optmized labor plan'. The outcome would be a more levelled out labor plan based on certain predefined rules, and all work centers should be taken into account (the production orders should have been rescheduled automatically).
How could this be accomplished in PP/DS?
