At my current customer we need to create productnumbers with one or multiple leading zeroes. Productnumbers doesn't have the same length and we have used the tickbox in the material type to ignore the external number range, but this is not working for productnumbers only consisting of numbers.
Productnumbers are not only consisting of numbers, but could also contain letters.
Is there any way to create the external productnumbers as desired?

Hello @Hans_van_Essen
You can switch on material number leading zeros in the OMSL configuration with "lexicographical" checkbox. Make sure to read carefully documentation to the SPRO entry: Logistics - General -> Material Master -> Basic Settings -> Define Output Format of Material Numbers
