Hi experts!
Can anyone explain what is the Lead Time attribute for in Source Location table, since there is the Transportation Lead Time already?
Thanks!
Joao

Hi,
Master Data Type ID: S4SOURCELOCATION
LEADTIME: Lead Time
Lead time for transferring the product to the ship-to location and it is used for supply planning purpose.
The lead time is a time-independent master data attribute, that is, it has the same value in all periods of the planning horizon. You specify the lead time as a number of periods, but only in integer multiples (for example, 0, 1, or 2 months, but not 0.5 or 1.3 months). Lead time periods are based on the time granularity (days, weeks, months) in which the time-series-based planning algorithms are performed. The latter uses the time granularity from the time profile level defined in the S&OP Operator Profiles app. If no time profile level has been defined there, planning algorithms use the storage granularity of the supply planning key figures.Master Data Type ID: IBPSOURCELOCATION
TLEADTIME: Transportation Lead Time
Source location master data (SOURCELOCATION) represents the transportation sourcing information for each product, ship-from location (source), and location (target).
Lead time for transferring the product from ship to location to DC, DC to customer and it is used for inventory optimization purpose.
Transportation lead time in weeks. Can be fractional.

Hi Joao,
Lead Time attribute is used as an input in IBP supply planning whereas Transportation Lead Time attribute as key figure is used in IBP inventory optimization.
