Layout Oriented storage control

Hello ,

We would like implement Layout oriented storage control process to stage the material from Raw material storage bin to PSA Via interim bin.

I have done configuration in Layout oriented storage control node and system created task to pick the pallet from bin to Interim bin and from interim bin to PSA.

Can you help me identify the config that will create task automatically to bring remaining pallet qty from interim to Raw material bin. I created work center and assigned the Return storage type as Raw material bin . but on going /scwm/pack how does automatic Warehouse task gets created from interim to Raw material bin?

Hi,

I also did not write anything about closing the HU. There is no process, so that would not do anything.

If you have entered a return process in the work center, magically a "Return Transfer" icon appears. That is what I mean.

Thanks for the reply. I went to transaction /n/scwm/pack but i dont see an icon to close the HU as we see in Packing work center. Please attached screen shots.

you mean you use a pick-point? I assume that, if you have really assigned a work center.

I don't think that this happens automatically, at least I have never experienced that. You either log in via RF to the pick point and sent the HU back from there, or you you log in with the desktop transaction (/scwm/pack, as you have done) and use the icon there which creates the return WT (don't know the name of it now).
