Hi Team,

I am in need of table for last count date in SAP EWM. I have last count date at IM level I.e MARD-DLINL can we have same kind of feild in EWM.

My Requirement is after master data upload the last count date is becoming blank. I am able to solve the issue at IM level as I am updating directly in the data base table with last count post date.

Is there any chance that the similar can we do it in EWM.

Please help me in this.

Thanks,

Chand.

Unfortunately, there is no such field in the SAP EWM system. The last count date is not stored directly in the EWM system, but is calculated using the IM data. Therefore, it is not possible to update the last count date directly in the EWM system.

Hi Yogananda,

Thank you very much for the reply.

Then how can business avoid doing multiple time physical inventory document.

Ex: we are migrating from E1 to SAP now what is happening there 2000 products and they have done PI for 1000 once golive is the done if I execute Cycle count PI again for all the 2000 products PI document will create this business dont want that.

how can we achive this with out creating the documents which are already created.

Appreciate you resposne.

regards,

Chand.

Hi,

Not sure if it's the best option here,

But since you will upload normally the stock in SAP EWM it means you already have an excel file prepared for stock upload.

There is a way to perform a physical inventory by preparing an excel file that you can upload. Check this link: https://blogs.sap.com/2020/04/20/ewm-physical-inventory-pi_upload-transaction/

It's a lot of work, but it may be an option.
