Lag forecasts and Lag Forecast error in IBP IO

Hello,

After calculating the Forecast Error CV the Optimizer looks into the error, PBR, Lead time and the Forward looking forecast to calculate the Safety Stock. I have calculated the Forecast Error CV for 5 lags in my planning area. How can I tell the system to look for the best CV to calculate the Recommended Safety Stock?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Subash,

unfortunately IBP Inventory is not supported relevant lag automatic detection. Relevant lag should be chosen based on the cumulative lead time length (and PBR if required). So you should somehow calculate the length and use it when selecting the lag.

Pls. check approach I used for some customers.
