KMAT in IBP - is this possible in IBP-OBP

Hello experts,

is it possible to handle configurable materials (KMAT) in IBP-OBP (oder-based-planning with R&S)?

Having FERT- and KMAT-products produced at the same bottle-neck-resource.

Is it possible to make a finite-planning in IBP-OBP for both products and are operations and components of the products added in the interface back from IBP-OBP to ECC within RTI? Like it's done for FERTs.

How are the operations and components of the KMATs getting identified.
- There is a production-version defined for maximum-BOM/routing.
- And there are no material-variants defined for the KMAT.
- There is not the characteristics-based-planning implemented.

If KMATs are not possible to handle with IBP-OBP - which other SAP-applications are recommended?
