KF CONSENSUSDEMANDQTY and Its Intended Purpose

I notice that in SAPIBP1 planning area, there's default KF

CONSENSUSDEMANDQTY which at perprodcustloc level. Doesn't anyone know what's the intended purpose of this KF? Can it be used as Input to supply planning processes?

Hi Bo,

CONSENSUSDEMANDQTY cannot be used as supply planning input. It can be used to indirectly calculate CONSENSUSDEMAND(which is a supply planning input) or to calculate consensus revenue. You can see various use of this key figure in SAP sample model.
