Key Figure SALESFORECASTQTY data from external source

When a key figure gets data from external source, does that data has to be transferred at base planning level of KF?

For example key figure SALESFORECASTQTY base planning level is WKPRODLOCCUST but in source system(C4C) data is available at Product & Customer Level. How do we populate this key figure?

Hi,

It is not possible to load data at aggregated planning level. Create an intermediate key figure to load data at Product - Customer level and run disaggregation operator to disaggregate data from intermediate key figure at product-customer level to SALESFORECASTQTY at product-location-customer level. Further, you can define a disaggregation criteria or business rule on how values should get disaggregated from product-location to product-location-customer.

Thanks so much! Piyush. This seems more logical than building logic in extractor.

I have one issue, probably you might already know answers, - how to do we map same location number as Manufacturing Plant and DC location type?

Location number is the root so you can't duplicate. In S/4 hana DRP - you can't assign two location type to same location number.

Having same plant as manufacturing and customer shipping point seems very common business need but how do we map it in IBP?
