Sybase Ver 15.7 which i recommend to upgrade to 16
face this issue after migration to vm because :-
'logsegment' segment is full/has no free extents. If you ran out of space in syslogs, dump the transaction log. Otherwise, use ALTER DATABASE to increase the size of the segment.
this happen usually specially after migrated to VM from physical
need the check the current size for log and what is the best extend size
Request clarification before answering.
