Jobs for SAP IBP TS Optimizer is not respecting the time limit

Hello:

I am facing strange behaviour. For the TS Optimizer in IBP, you create a SOP Profile where you establish the amount of time that the Optimizer will run. But what is happening is that when I launch the Job, it will just run non-stop, for several hours without finishing (eventually fails with a message related to Job administration). Expected behaviour is, when the time defined for the optimizer to run, passes, the job is finished, you may or may not get a solution or maybe a solution with big Gap.

Have you ever seen something like this?

Hello this was caused by some master data issue that prevented the FH to run, but it was not properly handled by IBP, SAP provided a paramter to handle the situation and make the job fail / finish immediately

Hello Miguel,

Can you please share the TS optimizer profile general settings? And also, did you try to use SAP provided TS based optimizer to see if that behaves the same ?
