It is possible to work with B Bulk storage with only one storage bin ?

Dear All,

We work with Putaway strategy B Bulk storage

Dst bin ch. during confirm 1

Mixed storage X

Addn to stock X

SUT check active X

Before we worked with several storage bins and we have modify to work only with ONE storage bin.

The bulk storage sectioning has a No.Sus 98901

If I do a LT09 the system indicates “No destination storage bin to be found in storage type XXX”. We can indicate it manually but the system should propose it automatically.

I have review the IMG Define Storage Type / Define Storage Sections / Define Storage Bin Types / Strategies … etc and all seems to be correct. On the MM02 WM1 tab we have indicate the “Storage type indicator for stock placement” and the “Bulk storage indicator“.

My question is; It is possible to work with B Bulk storage with only one storage bin ?

Cheers

Hi,

"My question is; It is possible to work with B Bulk storage with only one storage bin ?"

Probably it is possible. But why would you want to do that? If you want just one bin, use a storage type with open storage strategy.
