Hello everyone,
I have the following issue. I am using IBP Order based planning and I have defined frozen periods for production and distribution for 14 days. I have one finished good and some components, whereas for the FG I have forecast and one sales order within the frozen period. I have some planned orders, purchase requisitions and one purchase order for one of the components and all of them are also within the frozen period. I am using the supply optimizer, which fully and on time confirms my sales order.
Within Analyze Supply Usage app, I am able to see how the different products will satisfy the sales order qty - either with stock or with the supply elements generated. I want to change the delivery date of the PO so that it goes after the frozen period and after that I see that my projected stock for the component is negative (which is OK).
The issue is that after rerunning the optimizer, I still get fully confirmed sales order in IBP, although the late PO and the negative projected stock within the frozen period for my component. Why the behavior like that and how can I adjust it so that after the late PO, I see partial or late confirmed Sales Order, because for me this scenario looks not feasible?
Please refer to the attached screenshots from the app before and after changing the PO date. It is visible that instead of 100PC from stock and a PO, I will get only 58 from stock. The SO number is 386.
P.S.: The profile for the optimizer has all active switchable constraints, as well as demand prioritization rule for sales orders over forecasts.
There are no gating factors after the late delivery date of the PO as well.
Best regards,
Julian
