Hi,
I am learning the scenario of Deconsolidation and facing an Issue while using Rule-based in IDES system.
Error: Could not determine deconsolidation station.
My Scenario is:
I have 3 Materials which belongs to same storage type with 3 storage sections having different Activity Areas and Consolidation group.
Storage Section GRPA supports Pallet for Material MAT4A
Storage Section GRPB supports Carton for Material MAT4B
Storage Section GRPC supports Loose products
ERP Package setup:
MAT4A is packed in Pallet, MAT4B packed in Carton, and has 1 loose product for MAT4C.
These 3 materials are packed together in another Pallet, which is nested HU.
Shipping notification successfully distributed to EWM.
EWM:
Inbound Delivery created successfully. Product Warehouse task is creating successfully but HU Warehouse task creation has an Issue. Error is "Could not determine deconsolidation station"
Please refer to the attached screenshot for configuration details.
Am I missing something for using Rule-based configuration for Deconsolidation?
---------------Edited ----------------------------------------
Unloading (IB01): Source (ST:D001, Bin: D001-BIN) Destination(ST: GR01, Bin: GR01-Z1-BAY-BIN)
Deconsolidation (IB02): Source (GR01-Z1-BAY-BIN) Destination(ST: SPR, Bin: DECON-BIN)
Putaway (IB03): Source (ST: SPR, Bin: DECON-BIN) and Destination is as per the putaway strategy.

Thank you.

Request clarification before answering.
Hi Sara,
I guess it is because of "Determine deconsolidation station" settings, there you have source storage type, but you specified destination, should be D001 instead of MGRP.

Hi Daniil,
Thank you for your quick response. I modified the configuration setting accordingly.

Now I am getting new error: "Could not fully determine the destination data"
I think, it is trying to putaway Nested HU in final Bin instead of underlying HU's.
Please find below the Error log in detail.

Sara
Hi Sara,
but now it looks like a problem in Destination storage type. Your bins are too small (from the weight point of view). Try to increase bin parameters in /scwm/ls11, and check if it works.

Daniil
Hi Daniil,
The Bin Capacity is only 10 KG. The Nested HU total weight is 20 kg. Sub-HU is each 10 KG and is enough to accommodate in Final Bin. The issue is with some missing/wrong configuration.
However instead of Rule-based, if I give Destination Bin, Putaway is working perfectly. But I want to use Rule-based only. Somewhere is missing something.

Sara
Hi Sara, according to your log it looks like system tries to create first IB01 warehouse task to the final storage type. Or you can specify destination for your IB01 step and check how it would work. Or/And check if you have staging area in your delivery.

Daniil
Hi Daniil,
Thanks again for your response.
Yes you are right, the first warehouse task IB01 is directing to final storage bin. If I maintain the destination bin for IB01, it worked perfectly which i already tried this scenario.
How I can use Rule-based for the Unloading step as nowhere I mentioned GR01-Z1-BAY-BIN
Unloading (IB01): Source (ST:D001, Bin: D001-BIN) Destination(ST: GR01, Bin: GR01-Z1-BAY-BIN)
Deconsolidation (IB02): Source (GR01-Z1-BAY-BIN) Destination(ST: SPR, Bin: DECON-BIN)
Putaway (IB03): As per the putaway strategy, which is already in place.
Thank you.
Regards
Sara
