Issue creating storage bins via LS01N – Missing LGTYP and LGBER values

Hi everyone,

I’m currently facing an issue while trying to create new storage bins using transaction LS01N.

The problem is that the fields Storage Type (LGTYP) and Storage Section (LGBER) are missing or not maintained – they show up empty, and I can’t proceed.

I assume these values are supposed to be predefined in the system, but it looks like they’re not.

My questions are:

1. Where and how can I maintain or create Storage Types (LGTYP) and Storage Sections (LGBER)?

2. What are the relevant transactions or SPRO paths to configure this?

3. Are there any important dependencies or things to watch out for when setting them up?

Would really appreciate a step-by-step guide or any advice from someone who's done this before.

Please remove "SAP Extended Warehouse Management" tag. You are asking about LS01N, which is LE-WM.

Storage types and storage sections are defined in SPRO path: Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Master Data -> Define Storage Type and Define Storage Sections.

These are basic LE-WM settings defining warehouse structure.
