Is Yard Management required in EWM to integrate with TM

Hello, our client has a requirement to integrate EWM with TM. Do we need Yard Management to be active to integrate with TM?

Hi,

you do not need to use the full Yard Management. But the integration between EWM and TM is by Transportation Units (TU) or Vehicles. What you plan in TM creates a TU in EWM. So for processing you would use a storage type with the role yard, but you do not have to use the YM with all features (like moving a TU to any place in the yard. It is enough when the TU is checked in).
