Is there something for user tolerance for accepting products below the minimum SLED on Synch GR?

Hello experts!
I´m working on the implementation of the Cloud Public Edition for a client that already has legacy SAP. The client has the following situation on the legacy system that he wants to keep for the new one:

On the Synchronous GR (Post Goods Movements/Migo), they have set a minimum remaining shelf life requirement. The system does not allow regular users (like warehouse operators) to post a GR if the product is below the minimum number of remaining shelf life days. Only a few users (like the warehouse supervisor) are allowed to post the GR of products below the minimum remaining shelf life.

Is there anything that could be done for this on the cloud public?

Best regards

Hi,

The easiest way to achieve a solution for your case is to:

- Create a new movement type (for example Z01).

- Switch off SLED check for the new movement type.

- Give only supervisiors access to the new movement type.

After that during performing the GR supervisor will be able to use this new movement type to perform GR of goods with exeeded minimum remaining shelf life days.

New movement type you can configure:

Logistics, Transportation, and Warehousing => Inventory Management = > Core Inventory => Copy of Movement Type

Switch of SLED for specific movement type:

Logistics, Transportation, and Warehousing => Inventory Management = > Core Inventory => Set Expiration Date Check

If you need any other help please let me know.
