Is shipment mandatory for PGI multiple deliveries on one trailer

Hello experts,

I have following two questions around shipments in embedded EWM 1909 cloud environment.

Question 1 -

My client will be issuing stock on STO to move stock between two EWM managed plants.

Trailer will contain stock PGIed on multiple outbound deliveries associated with multiple STOs.

Is shipment mandatory for this process?

Question 2 -

Is use of shipment/transportation unit mandatory in EWM?

Hi Chaitanya,

the answer to both questions is "No".

For Embedded EWM there even is an option not to use transportation units (among other functionialities), "basic" I think it is called.
