Is it possible to read Master Data and key Figure data from IBP using its Hana Database tables?

Hi Community,

As we know IBP has a backbone Hana Database. Are there any APIs or is it possible to access this Hana Database and there by we can get Master Data or Key Figure data from an IBP Planning Area. Just trying to know if there are any alternative methods to get this data other than traditional CPI-DS.

Hi there!

I'm not sure whether you can call it reading directly from HANA or not but there's an oDATA API in which you can consume data directly from SAP IBP (not through CPI-DS).

We have tried that in the past and it's good but just keep an eye on the limitations 🙂
