Is it possible to modify the Master data based on condition in SAP IBP?

Dear Experts,

Is it possible to modify the value of master data attribute ( ZSCOPE attribute at PRODUCT master data ) based on condition (Ex. If there is no history of the product for past 12 months, I need to set PRODUCT-ZSCOPE = 'N' ) in IBP ?

I know custom development is not possible except 'L' script in IBP. I am curious if it can be achieved via Master Data attribute transformation. But I might be wrong. Please help me on this how can we approach this requirement.

Hi Suresh,

The recommended approach is to use CI-DS. You can also explore segmentation in IBP if requirement is not complicated.

Hi Suresh,

Simple answer is no you cannot modify MD using attribute Transformation. Your changes to MD should come via CPI(can use API as well, more on this here ) or via an user update. You cannot create a calculation/attribute transformation to change underlying MD.
