Currently I am running two separate lines by Vehicle Platform. I am looking to switch to using Group of Alternative Lines in order to allow one vehicle platform to be built on both lines but the other vehicle platform will be dedicated to one line. One negative of using the Group of Alternative lines is PDS fails if I do not maintain both platforms process structures on both lines.
Is there a way I can avoid having to maintain the process structure on both lines while using group of alternative lines?
Current > Line 1(PlatformX), Line2 (PlatformY)
Future> Line 1(PlatformX), Line2 (PlatformY & PlatformX)
